SHABBAT MORNING SERVICES - 5/17
Join us for Shabbat Morning Services on Saturday, May 17 at 9:15 am at Friends Meeting of Washington (2111 Decatur Pl NW) when we will celebrate the bar mitzvah of Josiah Szubin. Kids programming will begin at 10:30 am.
A kiddush lunch is sponsored by Miriam, Adam, Nathan, and Micah Szubin in honor of Josiah becoming a bar mitzvah.

LOOKING FOR TIKKUN LEIL SHAVUOT TEACHERS
Shavuot is only 25 (which is 3 weeks and 4) days away! Tikkun Leil Shavuot coordinators Elliot Dine, Eric Schulman, and Noam Kantor are looking for teachers for all-night learning on the night of Sunday, June 1 – Monday, June 2.
Please email chinuch@dcminyan.org if you are interested in preparing a session. Past Tikkun sessions have ranged from text study to art history to martial arts, so we welcome any ideas or passions you wish to share.

WELCOME TO NEW FINANCE COMMITTEE MEMBER
We would like to welcome Ben Rosenbaum as a new member of the Finance Committee, chaired by Lauren Contard! He will join Sam Hamer, Scott Greenberg, and Isaac Brooks Fishman on the committee.
BARUCH DAYAN HAEMET
The DC Minyan community extends deep condolences to David and Livia Bardin and their family on the death of David's brother, Hillel ben Shlomo v'Rut. Hillel died at his home in Tel Aviv, surrounded by his wife Anita, his sons Ariel and Noam, and his daughter Daphna. The family is sitting shiva in Tel Aviv.
There will be a Zoom memorial service on Sunday, May 11, at 10:00 am ET. You can access the service here.
May David and Livia, along with their family, be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

The DC Minyan community extends deep condolences to Jonathan Hyman and to Katie Hyman, Jojo, and Tali on the death of Jon's father, Clive Charles Hyman (Zelig ben Shimon Shaul).
May Jonathan, Katie, Jojo and Tali, along with their family, be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
